Updated: Aug 3

The fantastic thing about space movies and tv series that they can be about anything: comedy, drama, or even horror. When it comes to telling tales, space is only a backdrop or stage upon which authors can create any story that make people laugh, scared or dream about the impossible.

There is no limitation to what may be accomplished in space movies, which may be one reason there are so many incredible movies set there. Let's talk about some of these incredible space movies and TV shows.

Most Popular Movies:

2001: A Space Odyssey

The film "2001: A Space Odyssey" investigates the ramifications of technological progress, both positive and negative. A brilliant NASA scientist named Professor Brand (Michael Caine) is working on plans to preserve humanity by moving the inhabitants of Earth to a new home via a wormhole, played by Michael Caine.

Gravity

The word "adversity" was the overarching concept of the movie, and he utilizes the debris as a metaphor for this idea. Despite taking place in outer space, the film draws inspiration from tales of shipwrecks and wilderness survival to explore how a person's mindset may transform and how they can remain resilient in the face of adversity. Sandra Bullock plays the role of Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer embarking on her first shuttle flight. Her captain is the seasoned astronaut Matt Kowalsky, played by George Clooney, commanding his final mission before calling it quits.

As their dread escalates into panic, they realize that traveling deeper into space may be their only option for returning home.

Don't Look Up

The global warming catastrophe and the epidemic are the two most apparent analogies that can be drawn from the movie's comet. Through the medium of Don't Look Up, McKay draws attention to the reality that we live in a system that enables us to circumvent scientific truth and disregard the risk of our self-destruction to advance the short-term financial interests of the wealthy.
